Simplex 4100ES vs 4010ES vs 4007ES: which panel for which building

The short answer

• 4100ES: large and networked buildings, such as towers, hospitals, campuses and venues, especially where voice evacuation is part of the system
• 4010ES: medium-size buildings, such as hotels, offices, schools and clinics
• 4007ES: smaller buildings, such as shops, small offices and villas

All three use Simplex addressable detection, so the choice is mainly about the size of the building, voice evacuation, networking and how the site will grow.

Building size and number of devices

The more detectors, call points, modules and appliances a building needs, the larger the panel family. A high-rise tower with many floors and plant rooms is a 4100ES job; a single medium building usually fits a 4010ES; a small building a 4007ES. We size the panel from the device count with spare capacity for changes.

Voice evacuation

Towers, hospitals and large public buildings in Saudi Arabia often need phased voice evacuation with many speaker zones. The 4100ES is the Simplex platform built for fire alarm and voice together. For smaller voice requirements, ask us for the options for your building.

Networking and future growth

If a site has several buildings, or will be extended, plan the network from the start. Simplex ES panels can be networked, so a site can grow panel by panel. Tell us about future phases and we will choose a panel that can grow with them.

Existing systems and spare parts

On an existing site the best choice is often to extend the panel family already installed, so programming, spares and operator training stay the same. We keep 4100ES, 4010ES and 4007ES parts in stock in Riyadh.

How we help

Send us the drawings or the device count and we recommend the panel, size the loops and power, and quote supply, installation and programming.
